About Connomac
Connomac was established in 1975 in La Grange, Illinois. We provide temporary lighting and power for tunneling. A pioneer in tunnel lighting, Connomac has made important contributions to the understanding of how wall texture and its light absorbing properties affect illumination. Based on these variable conditions, our team will customize the spacing between lights, the length of cord needed, and the ampacity of cable necessary to carry current safely.
Conno-Maxx® “tunnel ready” molded neoprene cords and plugs are also used in steel plants, in scrap yards, on railroads, in shipyards and even in nuclear power plants. They are reliable, rugged and safe in harsh industrial and construction environments.
Our Minni-Mac® product line produces neoprene plugs and cords that are molded to cable, forming one piece construction; there are no exposed metal parts. Minni-Mac® connectors require no on-site assembly and are both waterproof and flame resistant. Impervious to the effects of sunlight, ozone and dirt, they withstand wear from excessive twisting or flexing.
Our American made Minni-Mac® line is used in a variety of industries throughout North and South America and in parts of Europe. We offer a robust suite of capabilities that can handle any scale and customization needs for your next project.
"Over the past 10 years, I have purchased thousands of custom molded cables from Connomac. The cables are always constructed properly with the highest of quality and delivered quickly even when we are in a time crunch. We will continue our relationship with Connomac and their staff."
